Free Vision Screening with Lions Club
Del Rey Optometry optometrist Anna Pennino along with two other doctors provided eye health examinations to more than 400 children and adults.
I did a vision screening for the lions club in Whittier on Saturday. My 17 year-old step boys and husband helped in dispensing glasses and I participated in giving the screenings. Between myself and two other doctors, we gave ocular health screenings (and free glasses if kids needed them) to over 400 people. There were a good number of children who had never had an eye exam and needed glasses. My boys were very touched to see children put on glasses for the first time and see clearly.
