Playa Del Rey Optometry Office
COVID-19 UPDATE: FOR THE SAFETY OF OUR PATIENTS AND STAFF, OUR PRACTICE WILL REMAIN CLOSED UNTIL FURTHER NOTICE
EMERGENCY SUPPORT AVAILABLE ON-CALL
Dear Del Rey Optometry Patients,
We hope this message finds you and your families healthy and safe. As many of you have likely been following the news surrounding the ongoing COVID-19 (coronavirus) pandemic, you are aware of the continued instruction from federal, state, and local authorities to self quarantine and maintain social distancing as much as possible. In keeping with these directives, we realize that it would be unsafe and irresponsible of us to reopen the practice on April 1st as originally planned. Your health and safety are our priority. Therefore, our practice will continue to remain closed until it is deemed safe to reopen.
If you already had an appointment scheduled during our office closure, we will be cancelling your appointment and placing you on a list to be rescheduled as soon as the practice reopens. In the meantime, if you are in need of duplicating a previous order of glasses or contact lenses, we are working with our labs to extend prescriptions and ship orders when possible. Please contact our office at firstname.lastname@example.org. If you have an unexpired contact lens prescription and need to order contact lenses, please follow this link.
If you feel you are having a medical emergency that needs immediate attention, please dial 911. For eye emergencies, you may reach our on-call doctor by calling our office and pressing 1. Your call will be returned within 30 minutes. Please reserve these phone calls for medical eye emergencies only.
Thank you so much for your understanding and flexibility during this challenging time! You are a valued patient of our practice and we hope to be reaching out to you soon.
